| The Spring Season was our best ever |
|

ReForest London planted more than 3,000 trees in the spring. This is our largest one-season planting ever!
More than 1,000 volunteers helped us plant in 15 projects. Our projects were in parks, at schools, along boulevards and in natural areas throughout London.

We're finalizing our schedule for the fall, and will send out an email announcement in early September.
Our first planting project where volunteers are needed is Saturday, September 22 from noon-4pm at St. Stephen's Park, located at Wellington and Bradley Roads.

The recent rains were a welcome relief to the many newly planted trees around London. To those who kept your trees watered throughout the drought, thank you.
Keep watering throughout the fall to prepare the tree for dormancy. One or two 15L buckets a week is enough. Or turn your hose on to a small trickle and leave it at the base of the tree for a half hour. more info

We've learned that the three ingredients to a successful project are planning, planting, and maintenance. Thanks to help from Youth Opportunities Unlimited and Clintar, we've spent a lot of time watering, mulching, weeding, and tracking our success this summer. more info |
