This year has been another great year for ReForest London. We planted more than 1,300 trees with the help of 1,286 volunteers in two dozen projects throughout the city.
Our projects included tree plantings at 7 schools, 8 neighbourhoods, 6 parks, and 3 natural areas.
More details and photos are here.

| Live Christmas Trees |
|
If you have purchased a live Christmas tree -- that is, one in a pot that has not been cut down -- and would like to donate it to ReForest London, we will gladly accept it and plant it in a future project.
Potted trees can be planted outdoors after the holidays to improve the environment and furnish food and shelter for wildlife. The most important factor in the tree's survival outdoors is the length of time it is left indoors as a Christmas tree. Warmth received indoors may cause the tree to "think spring," and become less cold-hardy once it is moved outdoors. The less time the tree is inside, the better its chances. Seven days is maximum; five is better.
Live Christmas trees can be dropped off to our partner in this project, Try Recycling. Try Recycling is located on Clarke Road, about 2 minutes of Sunningdale Road.
Trees can dropped off to Try Recycling during their regular business hours. Try Recycling website's lists their hours and directions.
