It's been a long winter, but Spring is nearly here. ReForest London has been very busy this winter planning new projects and preparing to move into our new building. We're looking forward to planting trees with you this spring. In the meantime, check out what we're up to now, and forward this email to a friend!

 London's Amazing Tree Quest

Do you know of an amazing tree?

This spring, you'll have a chance to tell London about your favourite tree in our city-wide contest, London's Amazing Tree Quest.

Beginning in late April, you can nominate your favourite trees online at our website in one of 10 categories. You'll need the trees species, at least one photo of the tree, and why you think your tree is amazing.

Spring Projects

We've got dozens of projects lined up for the spring. If project funding comes through, we'll need your help nearly every Saturday thoughout May and June.

As soon as we have our schedule finalized, you'll be the first to hear about tree planting events.

Volunteers planted hundreds of trees at Thompson Road Park last fall.

New Office Space

Over the next few weeks, we'll be moving into our new digs on the shores of Westminster Ponds. Our new building is located behind Parkwood Hospital, one of the former veteran's buildings.

We're sharing space with other individuals and groups seeking to promote a healthier environment, energy conservation, and a resilient community. Stay tuned for ways that you can be a part of this new space.

 Earth Hour, March 28

At 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2009, the City of London will join other cities around the world by turning off its non-essential lights for just one hour - Earth Hour - and show that it's possible to take action on global warming.
