 Fall Planting Schedule

This Lord Roberts PS student found a friend at River Forks Park this spring.

Join ReForest London in planting more than 4,000 trees this year. We've got 17 projects lined up for the fall. To see details, click here.

Below is our schedule of planting projects where volunteers are needed. You'll be planting native trees and shrubs and mulching them. The work is fun and relatively easy, suitable for families and people of all ages.

Bring a shovel or rake if you can, and come for the day or for an hour – your help can make a difference to the natural health and beauty of London.

To volunteer, simply come to the event – you need not sign up. For more information, contact us.

You can help us recruit more volunteers by printing this flyer (PDF) and posting it in your community.

St. Stephen's Park

St. Stephen’s Park
Saturday, September 22, noon-4pm
Wellington and Bradley Road

Join ReForest London as we create a new naturalization area at St. Stephen’s Park in south London planting about 80 trees and shrubs. We’ll also show you how to identify and remove Buckthorn, an invasive species that threatens biodiversity throughout North America.

This park borders Wellington Road, a main entranceway to the Forest City, so adding trees to this location enhances both the park and the city’s welcome to visitors. If you drive, park at the Westervelt College parking lot. This project is sponsored by TD Friends of the Environment Foundation.

This group in Glen Cairn completed a large naturalization project in their neighbourhood this spring.

Veteran's Memorial Parkway

We began work along the Veteran's Memorial Parkway this spring with St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation.

Veteran’s Memorial Parkway
Saturday, November 3, 10am-1pm
Join ReForest London in planting more than 80 trees along 150 metres of the Veterans Memorial Parkway. We will create four teardrop-shaped planting beds along the Parkway north of Gore Road. The Parkway is another important gateway to our city. If you drive, park at the Trojan Technologies lot at 3020 Gore Road. This project is sponsored by Trojan Technologies.
