It would take ReForest London 600 YEARS to replant the trees that are at risk should the newly strengthened by-law be defeated.

ReForest London is a member of the London Woodland Coalition, a group formed to support the City of London's defense of its stronger by-law protecting London's remaining woodlands.

You can learn more about this effort on Thursday, January 10, at Grosvenor Lodge (1017 Western Road, just south of Sarnia Road), beginning at 8pm. Help advertise by posting this flyer about the event. Learn more by reading this FAQ about the strengthened by-law.
2007 -- Our best year ever

Wow -- in 2007, we planted 3,800 trees and 1,000 shrubs. This is more trees that we planted in our previous 2 years combined! Many thanks to the 3,100 volunteers who came out to help this year.

A Year of Transition

In addition to having our best planting year ever, ReForest London has been transforming on the inside too. We began in 2005 as a committee of the Urban League of London. This year, we incorporated as a charitable, non-profit organization and are led by a strong Board of Directors. More about our history is here.

We are currently seeking a lawyer to serve on our Board. Please contact us if you are interested. 
Nature in the City

The McIlwraith Field Naturalists are hosting a 6 part series exploring Nature in the City. This excellent series happens on Tuesdays beginning on January 15 at 7:30 at the Central Library (251 Dundas). more info
