I had the pleasure of seeing many Damone Roberts Eyebrows on the small screen during the 59th Annual Emmy Awards. My girl Jaime Pressly finally got acknowledged for her work on “My Name is Earl”. She is great in that role, and seeing her hours before her win makes it more special as I’ve known Jaime for years and she truly deserves her Emmy!

Jaime is a hard worker, and like all of us, she’s encountered obstacles along the way. Only the strong stand after being knocked down, proving they were winners all along.

Jaime also had a baby several months ago (with her sexy Cuban Man…. something we have in common), so things are flowing nicely.

The personal highlight for me was having the pleasure of doing make-up for the one and only Cicely Tyson. I remember as a child watching in awe her performances in such screen classics as Sounder, The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman, A Woman called Moses, and of course the legendary Roots. I have been sculpting Miss Tyson’s Eyebrows for several years now, and I always enjoy her words of wisdom and surprisingly funny stories about her journey. However, this Emmy night was the first opportunity I had to paint her exquisite face. She is Stunning, and looks at least half her age.

We had a great time and of course once she walked out on that stage I felt very proud! Not just because of my work, but for what Cicely Tyson represents to me, as well as millions of others… "Quiet Fire". It may not be loud but what a powerful force it is.

Damone is listed in the October Issue of Allure Magazine under the prestigious title “Best of the Best” in the eyebrow category.

Brow Divas Giving Back

Sarah, Armond & Brandi donated their artistry for The Charity Philanthro Productions benefit for “Campheartland”, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children who experience HIV/Aids, poverty, grief and other life challenges.

The Fashion Show was held at the Cabana Club in Hollywood. I am proud that my Divas realize the importance of giving back to those less fortunate.

The look for the Fall is all about going Metallic. Its time to bring out the Gold Lames, Silver Trenches, and Bronze Eyeshadows. Do not be afraid of the Bling!

Sneak Peek TLC’S 10YY - All New Season



So many of you have written letters stating how excited you are that we have started filming a brand new season of 10YY, so I decided to give you a sneak peek of the new cast. Jorge is the new host/stylist and does a fantastic job on camera. You are going to fall in love with him instantly.

Gina is an exceptionally talented hair dresser from Beverly Hills that works magic with those little hands of hers. There will be more details to follow as we get closer to the new season, which starts airing in January 2008.
