2008 has been a transformative year for us all. Collectively we have experienced severe fires, earthquakes, hurricanes, and blizzards. We have watched and suffered the anguish of a failing economy, and dreamed to fruition the most historic Presidential election of this generation.

Navigating these highs and lows has not been easy, however, 2009 provides us with a unique opportunity.

I challenge you all to use the last few weeks of ’08 to truly reflect upon the past year. Dare to imagine the wonderful things you will accomplish by this time next year by surrounding yourself with positive thoughts and positive people. Take time to cherish the most important thing in your life. Whether it be God, Family, Career, or the pursuit of a Higher Self… acknowledge its presence in your life and be grateful.

The reality is the problems we face in 2009 are unlike any we’ve ever seen. It will take time to transition into our new roles, but with encouragement we will find our way.
